Method, assumptions and sources
Tourist tax may differ significantly between unclassified and classified accommodation. For classified accommodation, the rate depends on the number of stars. For unclassified accommodation, it is generally calculated as a percentage of the nightly price.
The calculation takes account of the rental period, number of guests, nightly price and any locally applicable additional taxes.
